Innovate Lynchburg is excited to champion this new program from T-Mobile in our region. Because of COVID-19, many schools are completely online or are hybrid.
In an effort to help close the homework gap, T-Mobile is giving school districts free internet access and mobile hotspots for 10 million eligible households. In addition to this, they are also offering school districts low-cost options to increased monthly data plans to provide connectivity to their students for free.
Project 10Million gives eligible households 100GB of data per year and a FREE mobile hotspot for 5 years. Plus, participating school districts have the option to apply the value of the free program, up to $500/year per student, towards additional data plans based on your students needs.
